Heading into the final weekend in January, AAA reports that gas prices in Minnesota and Iowa are up slightly from a week ago.
The average price in MN is $3.17, up 1 cent from a week ago and the average price in Iowa is $3.16 a gallon, also up 1 cent from last week.
Mississippi had the lowest average price in the nation at $2.99 a gallon.
The national average price is $3.35 per gallon.
