Heading into the first weekend of January, AAA reports that gasoline prices in Minnesota are the same as last week, while prices in Iowa are up slightly.
The average price of a gallon of gas in Minnesota is 3.08 per gallon, the same as a week ago, and in Iowa the average price per gallon is $3.05, up one cent from last week.
Texas had the lowest average price in the nation at $2.90 per gallon. The national average price is $3.03 per gallon.
