One Person Transported to Rochester Following Crash Near Bricelyn on Friday Morning

One person was taken to the hospital following a two vehicle accident on Friday morning, west of Bricelyn. 

According to the State Patrol, 68 year old Stephen Willette, of rural  Blue Earth, was north bound on 510th Ave and proceeded through the 50th St intersection, where he collided with a second vehicle driven by 39 year old Josue Galindez, of rural Bricelyn.  Two minor children were in the Galindez vehicle at the time of the crash.

The Bricelyn Ambulance transported one adult male from the scene to the United Hospital in Blue Earth.  He was later transported by ground ambulance, to Mayo Clinic in Rochester due to injuries suffered in the crash.

Assisting the Sheriff’s Department at the scene was the Bricelyn Fire Department, Bricelyn Ambulance and the Frost Ambulance.
