On Christmas evening, about 7:10pm, the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single vehicle crash on 320th Ave, south of 20th St. It was reported that the driver of the vehicle, 57 year old Jeffrey Milden Arndt, of Burt, was taken to United Hospital District by a person vehicle. It was also reported that his vehicle was in a ditch in standing water.
Law Enforcement arrived on the scene and located the vehicle in a drainage ditch still running. The Sheriff’s Department said that it appeared the 2008 Nissan Rogue left the roadway into the east ditch, the vehicle then continued in the ditch, past a field driveway and came to a rest at the bottom of a drainage ditch.
Arndt sustained non life threatening injuries as a result of the crash.
