The Faribault County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a two vehicle accident on County Road 16, east of Blue Earth on Tuesday at approximately 4:30 Tuesday Afternoon.
When authorities arrived it was learned that 56 year old Larry Twedt, of rural Frost, was eastbound on County Road 16, in a 2018 Chevy Equinox, when he crashed into the back of an eastbound UPS truck turning into a driveway off County Road 16.
Twedt was checked out at the scene by the Blue Earth Ambulance and was not transported. The UPS driver, 36 year old Joseph Willaby, of Albert Lea and his passenger, 31 year old Troy Willaby of Albert Lea, were not injured in the crash.
The Faribault County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Blue Earth Police Department, Blue Earth Fire Department and the Blue Earth Ambulance.
