Four People Hospitalized Following Collision in Fairmont on Saturday

Four people were sent to the hospital after a two vehicle collision Saturday in Fairmont.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the accident happened shortly after 6pm at the intersection of Highway 15 and East Margaret Street.

The Patrol says 79 year old Jerome Miller Ceylon was driving a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee eastbound and 52 year old Randy Nelson of Estherville was driving a 2011 Jeep Patriot southbound, when the two vehicles collided.

Miller and two passengers in his vehicle, 60 year old Lorrie Miller of Ceylon and a 7 year old child, along with a passenger in Nelson’s vehicle, 53 year old Stacie Nelson of Estherville, were taken to the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Fairmont with non life threatening injuries.

The Fairmont Police and Fire Departments, Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Mayo Ambulance and Truman Ambulance assisted at the scene.
