The Estherville Fire Department was called out Saturday morning to a report of people being stranded inside an elevator, which became stuck between floors of a building located in the community.
Shortly after 7am, local fire crews were called to a building located at 4 North 7th Street.
When firemen arrived, they found the key and removed the occupants from the elevator.
No injuries were reported.
