Emergency Responders from Martin County were summoned to a report of a vehicle/pedestrian accident on Thursday afternoon within the city limits of Truman.
Investigators way a 2015 Ford Transit Van driven by Lisa Frederickson, 44, of Madelia, was traveling northbound on Highway 15 near the intersection of North 2nd Street when the vehicle struck a pedestrian, identified by authorities as Kaiden Neitcke, age 12, of Truman.
Neitcke was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont for treatment of non life threatening injuries.
The accident was investigated by the Minnesota State Patrol with additional assistance being provided by the Truman Police Department, Martin County Sheriff’s Office and Truman Fire and Ambulance Department.
