Estherville Woman Facing Charges After Allegedly Threatening People With a Gun

An Estherville woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly threatening several people with a gun.

Jodeci Holmes, 19, of Estherville, faces multiple counts of going armed with intent, a Class D Felony and multiple counts of 1st degree harassment.

On Friday, October 29th, Estherville Police were called to a report of a male subject having a gun pointed at him, with threats being made by the suspect, who was later identified as Holmes.  The person also reported that Holmes pointed a gun at him and his father while they were traveling on the streets of Estherville.

Holmes, and two family members of the victim, later became involved in a confrontation along an area roadway, at which time Homes allegedly pointed a gun at the other family members while they were in their vehicle during their confrontation.

Holmes was later charged with another count of going armed with intent and first degree harassment, according to Police reports.  Holmes remains in jail under $75,000 cash bond.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
