A write in candidate from the November 2nd election has been elected to serve as the next Mayor for the City of Ledyard. Sharon Cowin received six of the nine write in votes that were cast to win the seat.
The City of Ledyard also needed a write in candidate for a second open position on the City Council, with Brad Engelby receiving eight of the nine votes cast to join Jeremy Thompson on the Council.
In Titonka, Katie Prothman and Mike Etherington, both write in candidates, were elected to fill two open positions on the Titonka City Council.
In the North Kossuth School District, write in candidate Brad Engelby was elected to fill the Second District Director Position on the School Board.
