The Minnesota Department of Health has reported three additional Covid related deaths in the area.
On Wednesday, the Health Department reported two new deaths in Martin County and one in Blue Earth County.
The Martin County cases involved a person in the 60 to 64 age category and the other person between the ages of 80 to 84.
The Blue Earth County case involved a person between the ages of 65 to 69, according to the Department of Health.
Blue Earth County has now recorded 61 COVID-19 deaths, the highest total in the region and the two deaths in Martin County raised its pandemic death total to 41, the second highest in the region.
