Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont is nearing final completion of its new 81,000 square foot skilled nursing facility. The facility, located on the back parking lot of Lakeview’s Campus, offers several new features.
The $24 million project, which began last summer, will not affect the chapel, existing independent living or assisted living.
The new facility has 72 private rooms, including four bariatric rooms. Some features the new facility offers include a café, updated beauty salon, new physical therapy room and a large communal space.
The plan is to have families and residents do a walk through of the new facility in mid-November.
Following that, an open house is planned that will take place over several days.
