The City of Wells has selected on of its initial four finalists to serve as its new City Administrator.
After a formal interview process last week, the Wells City Council has chosen Connor Lapointe to serve as the City’s new Administrator.
Lapointe has accepted the position and will begin his new duties on November 22nd. The Wells City Council is expected to finalize a new contract agreement with Lapointe later this month.
Lapointe currently resides in Claremont, MN, where he has served as City Administrator since 2019. Prior to that, he interned for the cities of Mankato and Blue Earth and served on the Region Nine Development Commission Legislative Committee.
Lapointe holds a B.S. in Urban and Regional Studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato and will complete a Master’s Degree in Public Education in the fall of 2021.
