U.S. Congressional Representative Jim Hagedorn, a Republican from Blue Earth, has announced that the contributions he received recently from Anton Lazzaro will be donated to charities in Southern Minnesota that help people impacted by sex trafficking.
Lazzaro was indicted last month by a federal grand jury in Minnesota on child sex trafficking charges.
Hagedorn is among four current members of congress who have been under investigation by the House Ethics Committee for alleged ethic violations.
Allegations of Hagedorn’s ethical violations first surfaced during the 2020 election season.
