Blue Earth Woman Injured in Wednesday Evening Crash Near Montgomery

A Blue Earth woman was injured Wednesday Evening when the vehicle she was driving collided with semi in LeSueur County.

 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the accident occurred at around 7:20pm at the intersection of State Highway 99 and County Road 3, south of Montgomery.

 

The driver, 23 year old Michelle Williams, of Blue Earth, was driving a 2007 Honda Civic northbound on County Road 3, when she attempted to make a left hand turn to go west on State Highway 99, when she was struck by an eastbound semi truck operated by 29 year old Kelby Johnson of New Richland.

 

Williams and a passenger 25 year old Trevor Knish, of Le Center, were both transported to a hospital in New Prague for treatment of non life threatening injuries.  The driver of the semi was not injured.
