New Richland Woman Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges in Winnebago County, Iowa

A woman from New Richland is facing drug charges in Winnebago County, Iowa.

 

Lauren Dexter recently pleaded guilty in Winnebago County District Court to “possession of a schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine),” a serious misdemeanor and “failure to affix a drug tax stamp,” which is a Class D Felony.

 

The charges stem from a traffic stop made by the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office on May 2, 2020.

 

Dexter is scheduled to be sentenced on October 19th.
