Heading into the final weekend in August, AAA reports gasoline prices in Minnesota and Iowa are slightly lower than they were a week ago.
The average price in Minnesota is currently $3.01 per gallon, compared to $3.04 a week ago.
In Iowa the average price per gallon is $2.99, compared to $3.00 last week.
Mississippi had the lowest average price in the nation at $2.77 a gallon.
The national average price per gallon is $3.14.
