Wells Man Facing Charges After Allegedly Attacking Another Man With a Machete

A Wells man is facing a felony assault charge after allegedly striking another man with a machete at a Wells gas station earlier this week.

Forty year old Yorman Reyes, of Wells, was charged with felony assault with a dangerous weapon Wednesday in Faribault County District Court.

The victim told Police that Reyes confronted him outside a local convenience store Monday night, at which time Reyes swung a machete at him.

The other man had marks on his arms, according to a court complaint.  The complaint further stated that the man was struck by the machete as he put his arms up to protect himself.
