2 Arrested In Connection With Campground Burglary Near Algona

Authorities in Kossuth County have announced the arrests of two central Iowa residents in connection with a burglary that occurred last week at a campground near Algona.

 

The investigation began Tuesday the authorities were notified of a car that had been broken into and a purse stolen, before one of the suspects was allegedly caught on a bank security camera attempting to make a cash withdrawal.

 

Logan Plante, of Newton and Macey Wignall, of State Center, have been arrested in connection with the case.

 

Both were taken into custody in Hardin County on burglary, theft and other charges in multiple counties.

 

Both parties are expected to be extradited to Kossuth County when they are released from the Hardin County Jail.
