This week, the Blue Earth Area School Board received an update report on a K-7 Playground Basketball Court Project that’s currently in the works for the Blue Earth Area School District.
The project, which is being headed up by Katie Alford and Brenda Smith, has been progressing pretty much according to plan, according to Blue Earth Area School Superintendent Mandy Fletcher.
As of now, local organizers are hoping to begin construction work on the basketball court project next spring.
Superintendent Fletcher also noted that District Personnel are continuing to prepare for the upcoming school year, which is rapidly approaching.
The Blue Earth Area School District will begin the 2021-2022 School Year during the week of September 6th. The first day of classes for students in grades 8-12 will be Tuesday, September 7th, while those in grades K-7 will begin the new school year on Thursday September 9th.
