Heading into the second weekend of July, AAA reports that gasoline prices in Minnesota are higher than they were a week ago, while prices in Iowa are also slightly higher than they were the previous week.
The average gas price in Minnesota is reported at $2.99 a gallon, compared to $2.97 a week ago.
The average price in Iowa is currently at $2.98 a gallon, compared to $2.96 the previous week.
Mississippi had the lowest average price in the nation at $2.76 a gallon.
The national average price per gallon is $3.14.
