The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle accident on Monday morning, near Wells, which resulted in injuries to both drivers.
Twenty-year-old Koby Nagel, of Blue Earth, was driving a pickup northbound on Highway 22, when he crossed into the southbound lane and collided with an oncoming semi-trailer truck operated by 68-year-old Marvin Fendrich of Emmons.
Nagel was taken to the Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries.
Fendrich, the driver of the semi, had minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
