16 Year Old Boy Accidentally Shot in the Leg Near Frost Wednesday Night

A Blue Earth male juvenile was injured late Wednesday night when he was accidentally struck by a bullet discharged from a weapon in rural Faribault County.

 

At 11pm Wednesday evening, the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office was called to a report of a gunshot being fired, resulting in injury, at a rural area along 70th Street in Emerald Township, near Frost.

 

A 16 year old male juvenile from Blue Earth, was stuck in the leg by a single bullet fired from a weapon, according to the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Two other male juveniles, ages 16 and 17, both of Blue Earth, were present at the time of the incident.

 

The Blue Earth Ambulance transported the injured male juvenile to the United Hospital in Blue Earth, h was later transported by air to Mayo Clinic in Mankato.

 

The Faribault County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Frost Ambulance and Blue Earth Ambulance.
