Heading into the first weekend in June, AAA reports that gasoline prices in Minnesota are the same as they were a week ago, while prices in Iowa are lower than last Friday.
The average price in Minnesota is $2.84, the same as last Friday. The average price Iowa is $2.88, a penny a gallon lower than a week ago.
Texas and Mississippi had the lowest average price in the nation at $2.70 a gallon.
The national average price per gallon is $3.04.
