Iowa Reports 176 New COVID-19 Tests and 7 Deaths on Friday

The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show seven more COVID-19 deaths have been reported and there were 176 more Iowans who’ve tested positive for the virus in the state.

 

The number of new positive COVID-19 tests reported for the time period brings the total number of individuals who have tested positive up to 370,154.

 

The data shows there have been 6,025 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 2,353 were residents of long term care facilities.

 

A vaccine dashboard on the Department of Health’s website shows 1,294,768 people are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
