Iowa Reports 233 New Coronavirus Cases and 5 More Deaths on Thursday

The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health shows five more COVID-19 deaths have been reported on Thursday and there were 233 new cases of the virus in the state.

 

The number of new positive COVID-19 tests reported for the time period brings the total number of individuals who have tested positive up to 370,154.

 

The data shows there have been 6,018 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 2,350 were residents of long term care facilities.

 

A vaccine dashboard on the Department of Health’s website shows 1,286,083 people are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
