A Nicollet man was critically injured Wednesday morning in a crash north of Mapleton.
According to the State Patrol, 31 year old Bradley Darling, was taken to Mayo Clinic – Mankato with life threatening injuries following the crash at Highway 22 and Blue Earth County Road 8.
Darling was a passenger in a car driven by 30 year old Christopher Stolt of Nicollet. Stolt was eastbound on County Road 8 when his car and an SUV that was northbound on Highway 22, collided at the intersection of the two roads.
The SUV was driven by 27 year old Erin Zemple of Delavan. Neither driver was injured.
The State Patrol reported the accident occurred at 6:26am.
