Minnesota Health Officials reported on Friday 1,306 new cases of the coronavirus and 9 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 7,283 people have died because of the virus. A total of 4,387 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 592,750 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began in March of last year.
