Minnesota Health Officials reported on Friday 1,453 new cases of the coronavirus and 12 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 7,216 people have died because of the virus. A total of 4,377 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 585,677 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began in March of last year.
