Minnesota health officials reported on Tuesday 998 new cases of the coronavirus and 11 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 7,174 people have died because of the virus. A total of 4,371 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 581,335 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began in March of last year.
Nearly 2 million people have been completely vaccinated in Minnesota.
