The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 3 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and there are 503 new cases of the virus in the state.
The number of new positive COVID-19 tests reported for the time period brings the total number of individuals who have tested positive up to 363,929.
The data shows that so far there have been 5,930 total deaths from the coronavirus in Iowa. Of those deaths, 2,314 were residents of long term care facilities.
A vaccine dashboard on the Department of Health’s website shows 999,451 people are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
