Minnesota health officials reported Tuesday 1,088 new cases of the coronavirus and 12 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 7,091 people have died because of the virus. A total of 4,354 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 570,518 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began in March of last year.
