Minnesota health officials reported 1,973 new cases of the coronavirus and 10 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 7,054 people have died because of the virus. A total of 4,343 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 562,420 cases have been confirmed in the state since the pandemic began, of those, 538,450 people no longer need to self isolate.
