Iowa Adds 631 New Coronavirus Cases and 6 Deaths on Wednesday

The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 7 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and there are 631 new cases of the virus in the state.

 

The number of new positive COVID-19 tests reported for the time period brings the total number of individuals who have tested positive up to 361,314.

 

The data shows there have been 5,893 deaths from the coronavirus so far.  Of those deaths, 2,304 were residents of long term care facilities.

 

A vaccine dashboard on the Department of Health’s website shows 895,872 people are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
