Iowa Reports 445 New Coronavirus Cases and No Deaths on Tuesday

The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show no additional Iowans have been reported to have died from COVID-19 for the second day in a row.  Meanwhile, there were 445 new positive tests for the coronavirus reported statewide.

 

The number of new, positive COVID-19 tests reported for the time period, brings the total number of individuals who have tested positive up to 357,484.

 

The data shows there have been 5,857 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far.  Of those deaths, 2,295 were residents of long term care facilities.

 

A vaccine dashboard from the Department of Health’s website shows 781,224 people are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
