At their meeting last night, the Blue Earth Area School Board approved the hiring of Allison Schmidt as the Director of Curriculum, approved the hiring of five teachers and approved the hiring of a new Dean of Students for the elementary.
Some of the new teachers will be replacing teachers, who are retiring at the end of the school year.
Board Members also approved the bid for roof repairs at the High School. The bid went to Nieman Roofing at a cost of $54,900, about $5,000 above what was budgeted for.
Superintendent Mandy Fletcher updated the Board on covid numbers in the District and Senior Awards night, which will be held on May 14th.
The Board also approved the spring coaches list for 2021.
