Minnesota Health Officials reported 2,140 new cases of the coronavirus and 12 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 6,860 people have died because of the virus. A total of 4,280 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 521,667 cases have been confirmed in the state since the pandemic began in March. Of those, 500,351 people no longer need to self isolate.
