Minnesota Health Officials reported 1,345 new cases of the coronavirus and 12 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 6,848 people have died because of the virus. A total of 4,276 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 519,529 cases have been confirmed in the state since the pandemic began in March. Of those, 499,395 people no longer need to self isolate.
