The latest number from the Iowa Department of Public Health show the positivity rate for COVID-19 continues to increase in the state.
Data shows 19 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and there are 907 new cases of the virus being reported.
The number of new positive COVID-19 tests reported for the time period brings the total number of individuals who have tested positive up to 348,609.
The data shows there have been 5,708 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far. Of those deaths, 2,230 were residents of long term care facilities.
