The Blue Earth City Council will be holding a special council meeting on Thursday Afternoon at 5pm.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider a recall petition against Councilman John Huisman.
A group of citizens submitted the recall petition, indicating that they thought Councilman Huisman violated the First Amendment of the Constitution by attempting to limit the Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press.
The Council will also consider a resolution to hold a special recall election for the Council Seat.
