Early on Sunday morning, the Winnebago Police Department responded to a one vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 109 and Highway 169.
A vehicle driven by Lisa Loegering, of Minnesota Lake, was traveling westbound, when it crossed Highway 169 from Highway 109 and stuck a tree.
Loegering was transported to the United Hospital in Blue Earth.
Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor to the crash. The accident is under investigation.
Assisting at the scene were the Winnebago Ambulance and Fire Department and the Faribault County Sheriff’s Department.
