Minnesota health officials reported Monday 829 new cases of the coronavirus and 1 more death.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 6,747 people have died because of the virus. A total of 4,241 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 498,218 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began in March of last year. Of those, 482,984 people no longer need to self isolate.
