The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 8 more Iowans have die from COVID-19 and another 191 Iowans have tested positive for the coronavirus.
The number of new positive COVID-19 tests reported brings the total number of individuals who have tested positive up to 342,934.
The data shows there have been 5,641 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far. OF those deaths, 2,217 were residents of long term care facilities.
