The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 10 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and another 489 Iowans have tested positive for the virus.
The number of new, positive tests reported brings the total number of individuals who have tested positive up to 341,910.
The data shows that there have been 5,631 deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far. Of those deaths, 2,213 were residents of long term care facilities.
