Minnesota Health Officials reported on Friday 1,156 new cases of the coronavirus and 12 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health 6,462 people have died because of the virus. A total of 4,046 of those deaths occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 482,978 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began. Of those, 469,149 people no longer need to self isolate.
