On Thursday Morning, the Blue Earth EDA Board met. As part of the meeting, they discussed a letter that Councilman John Huisman signed, encouraging listeners and businesses to boycott KBEW Radio because of a news program they were airing. After the discussion, the Board voted 5-1 to have the City remove Huisman from the EDA Board.
Huisman cast the only no vote against the motion.
The request from the EDA Board will be forwarded to the Mayor for his consideration at the next Council Meeting on Tuesday, February 16th.
