Tuesday, February 9th is a special election day for residents in the 2nd District of the Martin County Board of Commissioners and also residents of the Fairmont Area School District.
The School District is holding a special election for approval of a $6.7 million bon referendum for a vocational expansion project.
Martin County 2nd Commissioners District voters will be choosing between Jim Forshee and Jamie Blees for the seat on the Board of Commissioners that has vacant since the passing of Tom Mahoney Jr. last year.
