Minnesota health officials reported Friday 1,054 new cases of the coronavirus and 22 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health 6,273 people have died because of the virus. A total of 3,960 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 466,224 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began. Of those 450,924 people no longer need to self isolate.
