Heading into the final weekend of January, AAA reports gas prices in Minnesota are higher than they were last Friday and prices in Iowa are lower than last week.
The average price in Minnesota is $2.29, a penny a gallon higher than last Friday.
In Iowa the average price is $2.33, a penny a gallon lower than last Friday.
Mississippi has the lowest average price at $2.10 a gallon.
The national average price is $2.42.
