Minnesota health officials reported Friday 1,145 new cases of the coronavirus and 28 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 6,168 people have died because of the virus. A total of 3,911 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 459,747 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota since the pandemic began last year. Of those 443,253 people no longer need to self isolate.
